The neighborhoodOverview
Eixample is mainly a normal residential area, meaning you will be living among locals and with real, authentic restaurants, cafés and shops, instead of the more touristic aimed souvenir shops and restaurants in other parts of the city.
The area is calm and quiet at night, so it is very suitable for children families or others who like their holiday to be quiet and calm :). Furthermore, it is a very safe location.
In only 5 minutes walking distance you will be standing right next to the famous Sagrada Familia! Casa de Las Punxes, Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau is also very close, just as is the famous shopping Boulevard of Passeig de Gracia which also houses the famous Casa Battló and La Pedrera buildings. Being in the very center of the city, all options of public transportation (buses, metro etc.) will be available for you!
Getting around
The area around the apartment is very well connected to the rest of the city due to the excellent transport systems that comprises of both Metro, Busses and Trams.
The next Metro Station is in 10 min walking distance (Lines L4, L5), and there is a second one in only 15 min walking distance (L1)!
