As far as rooftop bars go in Barcelona, this particular venue close to Placa Catalunya is one of my favourites. Don’t be disheartened by the lack of view at this hipster spot, with Dj’s playing each week its all about the laid back vibe at this spot. Decked out with comfy sofa’s and enough plant’s to make you feel as if you were in a Jungle, grab a cocktail sit back and enjoy a fun chilled evening with friends.

Famous in Barcelona amongst local’s for its Vermouth and Dj sessions on the weekend, if you want to fit in amongst the hip and happening, this is the place to be seen in the evening’s. This boutique hotel located in Eixample Esquerra, is slightly off the beaten track for tourists thus keeping an intimate charming feel to its rooftop bar. Not over exposed or busy, it doesn’t have the same views as some other rooftop bars in the city. However this tastefully furnished rooftop with a laid back Mediterranean feel, is not to be missed if you are in search of a relaxing drink.

Hosting Barbecue nights on Thursday and Sunday’s this venue prides itself on its live music sessions. The service is absolutely stunning and pre booking is essential due to the popularity of this hidden gem. The best part? You don’t have to break the bank to enjoy the wonder’s of this peaceful terrace.
