The CosmoCaixa science museum is a great place for the whole family. From various interactive activities to a massive rainforest recreation with indoor rain and live animals! This one is great for both adults and children alike! Leaving CosmoCaixa will have the young ones entertained and have learnt new things at the same time for sure.
Getting there: Adress: Carrer d'Isaac Newton, 26. Metro: Line 7 L7 (brown line)that can be taken from Plaza Catalunya to Avenida Tibadabo From there you can take the 196 bus and stop at the Museum, or you can walk from the metro station, it is just about 5 minutes. Buses to CosmoCaixa:The following buses stop near CosmoCaixa science museum: 17, 22, 58, 73, 75, 60, 196. Prices: Free admissions to under 16's & "la Caixa" customers. €4.00 for eveyone else. Opening times: Tuesday-Sunday 10am-8pm
Museu de la Xocolata (Chocolate Museum)
From life-size chocolate characters to replicas of famous monuments chocolate is the main order of business! The Museu de la Xocolata runs workshops and parties for kids while having the best chocolate in the city!
There is also treasure trail hunt for children from 3 to 8 where they get to discover the origins of chocolate! There is also a selection of chocolate film characters as well as a great gift shop with chocolate lollipops!

A great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the “Garden of Barcelona”. In here you can find various fountains, plazas and the city zoo. There is plenty of entertainment for the kids in the shape of a life-size replica of a Mammoth and plenty of space for a relaxing picnic! The park has a very family friendly feel it to it and is a must visit when in Barcelona on a warm day!!

Nou Camp experience
The Camp Nou experience is a great way to explore the 99,000 capacity Barcelona stadium and discover the history of the club.
From visiting the trophy room to the changing rooms and the walk out tunnel of the players, the tour is full of great things to see, even if you are not a Barca fan. Taking a picture with the champions league trophy will definitely be a hit with the young ones too!

Barcelona Bosc Urbà
If you’re a family who loves an active holiday, Barcelona has its very own urban climbing park!
Situated in the Forum area of the city where you will find the covered rope adventure park with courses for all ages. Starting from around 3 years old, the circuits are divided into Orange, Blue and Red options all requiring you to make your way around via zip-wires and bridges.
Open: Morning and evening opening times on weekdays, weekends and holidays vary by month. Check website for details. Price: From €9.00 online. Buy your tickets to Bosc Urbá online for a discount. - Magic Fountain of Montjuic – At night the fountains light up and it is an absolute sensory treat! Address: Pl Carles Buïgas, 1 Opening times: Summer period (31 March to 25 October) Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Winter period (30 October to 30 March): Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Prices: Free
- Tibidabo Amusement Park – Among the oldest active amusement parks in the world! Address: Collserola Ridge Barcelona. Prices: Adult € 25.20

- “Village of Barcelona” – have a wonderful stroll through this scenic village with the family! Address: Carretera de Montjuïc, 66, 08038, Barcelona. Opening hours: Montjuic castle: Open daily from 09:00 until 18:00 Prices: Tickets for the Montjuic castle costs € 9
